Looks like Mount Airy's Non-Conference games may have been their toughest schedule.
Conference games start next week.Conference standings below........

Winston-Salem Prep--- 1-3 ....Had open Date 1st Week 8/19/16
Walkertown -------------1-4
North Stokes -----------0-5

Going to be tough to beat the Bears in conf play. Could be wrong but don't see anyone staying close to them. They are on a mission

I said they owed Surry Central A pay back and that goes for Walkertown and East Surry which they play at home this year and they have the team to go deep with this year.. They will be seating on ready ! !

I wouldn't sleep on Walkertown, they are really beat up from playing those 4A schools. They have yet to play at 1A school. Simmons has them playing 3rd toughest sc.hedule in 1A.

I have to agree ! I also think they will play at home in the playoffs till someone can beat them and good chance of winning the western finals . May be wrong but I think I heard Mitchell will be small 1A and not seeing much out of SMC 1AA so it may come down to someone from the YVC East Montgomery or West Montgomery and Mount Airy to move on to meet the east for the state title. Of coarse injuries can change any ones run. Just my outlook and games are played week to week .Good luck Bears ! !
