At 7-5, Braun has real chance. Definitely not worst post ever
Braun has a great chance and might be the favorite , believe it's between him and Ferentz
now that Day blew his shot and the B1G will tell Harbaugh cheating might help win on the field, but not COY after being caught.
Schiano proved unworthy

And Schiano can't win COTY next season because of winning 6 this season. A 7 or 8 win season next year isn't really turning around a bad team. I have to give credit to Plum, the boy wonder called it right away.

I'm a Greg supporter, but even though RU qualified for a bowl and might have had a harder schedue, I feel the Northwestern HC deserves COY award more because if the 1-11 program he took over and the turmoil he had to overcome to get that program into a bowl eligible team.
But Ipwa's no O HC might have earned the lead already and winning on Saturday might clinch it
I recall, following the season opener victory over NW, that many here and elsewhere were speculating that NW would go winless this season. Now that they have finished the regular season at 7-5, their coach definitely deserves the COY this season. Despite RU's step forward, NW exceeded all expectations and exceeded them by a lot.

Since I am out of the loop and out of the B1G footprint, has the COY already been announced?

Don't think so but Braun has all tge earmarks of a winner
With that in mind, Upsets Happen and the Hawkeye Birdman HC might swoop down when least expected and fly away with COY because his program was best in the west and getting the COY would be the most offensive move his team was involved in this year 😉
