Gotta be some other reason to turn them down. Expectations of the head coach I suppose.

Don't blame him. He probably got a raise and has a good thing going at L'ville anyway. Will have a better chance to be successful in the ACC as well.

People forget that there is a Miami to Louisville pipeline dating back.....

....to the Schnellenberger days. Strong is effectively building his team with skill players from down there. Playing it like their 'oasis' from the hood. Probably will continue to work for him until the University of Miami gets its act together.

Of course, Tennessee will need a pipeline to talent like that to compete, which is what made Strong a good candidate for them. Although I don't know how popular Tennessee is down there.
