BREAKING:
JMU has earned state approval from the General Assembly's Intercollegiate Athletics Review Commission to make move to the FBS and join the Sun Belt. The Sun Belt will make a $600,000 contribution to JMU during the transition. Indicates that once the transition is complete JMU could earn $2.5 million from media rights.

Gonna miss JMU hosting playoff games. Selfish of me, I know. We all knew this was coming though. Wonder what no name bowl games we'll get to be in. 😑

Ain’t about the postseason. It’s about the regular season potential, specifically non-conference. Not to mention games with Marshall, App & ODU every year. It’s a slam dunk decision.
