Michigan is a top 10 engineering school, and top 3 as far as mechanical programs go.

The MSU Challenge X team won the last two years of the competition, and pretty handidly. The Michigan team did so poorly, they either weren't invited, or chose not to participate in the EcoCar Challenge, which MSU won the second year of the competition.

Not sure of Michigan's Disc Golf reputation, but to say our engineering nerds stomped their engineering nerds is a pretty big deal.

Ecocar is an engineering competition that MSU has one for some years in a row. I think Michigan usually competes in it too. But we've spanked everybody lately, which is quite an accomplishment.
