These two teams were supposed to have played last night in a game that was previously scheduled for September 30th. However, on Score Stream it said the game was canceled and it also said the same thing on the Amelia Public Schools Facebook page. Then I look on Max Preps and it has it awarded to Nottoway by forfeit. We all know that Max Preps isn't always reliable on things like that. Is there anyone who can confirm if this was indeed a forfeit win for Nottoway or just a canceled game. Either way this will affect the points in power rankings as Amelia was probably favored to win the game, plus Nottoway is only playing a 9 game schedule to begin with.

Here's what I witnessed online. Amelia County scored with 3:12 left in the 3rd quarter to make it 29-7. On the ensuing kickoff, the AC kicker either unintentionally or intentionally kicked the ball into the ground creating a "pop-up" that went about 15 yards. Away from the ball, an AC player and a PEC player collide face to face with the PEC going to the ground on his back while the AC kid was still standing. The PEC kid jumped up, grabbed the AC player from behind and executed a pretty dog gone good suplex and then it was on with the camera on the video I saw jerking to the right to not show what was going on. I will say it was the first time I've ever seen a head coach wear bid overalls (tan in color) while coaching a game!
