Now I'm worried.

Yep. Hopefully Dak's legs can make a huge difference because we're going to have the same issues with play calling, lack of creativity, and substitutions. I'm telling you guys, our issues on that side of the ball run much deeper than quarterback execution (although make no mistake, Russell didn't execute very well after the first quarter of the OSU game).

I am really wondering if that hit on the slide completely screwed Russell up. He looked fine on the 3 passes before that. He barely looked downfield the rest of the game.

Upon further review I think you are right. The hit in the second half sent him

out of the game but the hit you refer to was the one that did the damage. He wasn't right after that.

I agree that could be part of the issue. Why don't coaches pull him long before the second hit, if he is the one making bad choices leading to the level of suck that we witnessed?

im calling it now. if we run the same type of offense against auburn that we did vs osu, auburn is going to beat us by at least 2 touchdowns.

i read this earlier too and was anything but encouraged. mullen is a better coach than croom, but this has a croom heir of "refusal to adapt" feel to it. dan seems to be digging in with the offense that has done nothing against a defense worth a **** despite multiple attempts to do so.

the offense when he got here and the one we have now are totally different....my question is why is he choosing to dig-in with this defense while he surrendered the other one so easily? how about we stick up for an offense that got us to 9 wins with a much harder schedule than what we had last year.

our problems do run farther than QB execution

but I think they can be fixed ,and Mullen can be the guy to do that. What happened to the jet sweep with a guy like Holloway? What happened to the option to the outside? What about implementing a diamond formation with Perk, JRob, and Griffin? What about a trick play every now and then to keep the defense honest? There things we can do to get more creative , especially running the ball. Our coaches just need to quit being scared to lose and timid on offense and start getting more creative.

Remember last year when C34 was telling everyone after struggling at Troy that we were holding back on offense and had some different packages to break out? Well that never happened.

I don't have any faith whatsoever in our offense changing with Dak in charge. Dan Mullen, offensive-minded specialist, please for the love of Jesus Tap Dancin Christ prove my doubt wrong!

This is interesting and all, but what ensemble are we wearing Saturday?

To coach's credit he didn't specifically state the year we would cut it loose.*** I'm certain he would say that he still hasn't been proven wrong...

I just can't understand why he would do this though. I just can't wrap my brain around why Mullen would be so damn stubborn. We all know he sees that this is a problem, so why wouldn't he try something "new", or at least reminiscent of what we ran with Relf? Shirley he's not that loyal to his upperclassmen and/or Koenning. Is he? Or does it go far beyond the scheme?
