-the onside kick execution was flawless. the kick was perfect, he just kicked it right to himself and we ran two blockers right in front of Brauchle to make sure he caught it and no Auburn players came near it. Beautiful play and execution.
-seemed like I saw a lot more Mt. Carmon in the second half, and it was a key to Auburn not running Newton right up the gut.
-Diaz is more than worth the money. He is legit, at least at this point. Major adjustments at halftime. I think our initial plan was to bend and not break, and allow Auburn to get to the red zone but try to hold them to FGs. When it was obvious that we were not going to be able to match their scores, we started taking more chances.
-Chris White played really really well, as another poster noted. At this point, he is our best linebacker. KJ felt absent the whole night.
-The Georgia Tech style triple option worked really well. I hope we use it more. Relf is more like Nesbit as he's a big body that just runs and can't throw very well. I think this could be very effective against LSU. In this set though, Relf needs to make better reads. The one drive they stopped it I felt like he did not option to the right players all 3 plays.
-Hanrahan looked like Mike freaking Alstott out there when he ran the ball. It was like they didn't think we'd actually give it to him and he was more than happy to lower his head and run people over. Yeah they stuffed him on one run but that was more due to there not being a hole.
