I was at 7-5 with 8-4 as the ceiling. I think 10 wins is very probable and 11 a possibility.

Did I really just type that? Jesus. Wool is warm.

When we started this LSU, A&M, and Auburn stretch I really just wanted to win one of them. Now I've gone into full fledged one game at a time superstition let's not look ahead to next the week mode.

I'm always a homer, so I picked us 10-2 to start with. Auburn, at bama, and at om will be tough games, so I'll stick with it right now

I had us at 10-2 too, but I had us losing in BR. This week and next week were always wins in my book.

I went with Mullen having at least one win over every SEC west team after the season. I like my chances.

I had us at 9-3 going in to the season, but I thought LSU was a likely loss. I think we're capable of winning every game this season now that Ole Miss beat Bama. That's crazy. I give us under a 5% chance of going 12-0, but I do think we're capable if we play well and the ball bounces our way which has to happen anyway to win a NC no matter how good you are.

I'll stay with 9-3 which is a very good year, but bottom line is we know we have a great team no matter what happens. The fact we didn't let A&M's offense ever get in control says alot. Gabe Myles is the truth.

remaining schedule:

UT Martin - cakewalk
Vandy - cakewalk

Auburn - We always play them tight, especially at home. I actually felt like we'd lose today based on matchup but win next week.
Kentucky - This game will be tough and will sneak up on us even with a bye week before. It's on the road and UK is looking for respect and they are improved.
Arkansas - Another home game; they're better but not enough to beat us; I think we matchup well against them since we stop the run very well.
Alabama - If Bama plays the way they did today, they will lose several games. I have a feeling by the time we get to them they'll have probably given up on their season. 3 of their next 4 are road games.
Ole Miss - I think they continue to improve as do we. At this point, this game worries me the most but we can certainly beat them. I never thought I'd say that 6 months ago.

I think I had us at 7-5. I think we're better than OM but I still can't see us winning in Oxford. I think we go 9-3 but I've also picked us to lose the last two games as well. I hope my trend continues. Let's face it, the Indians won't let us play for a NC so I'm really, really hoping we can play in the sugar bowl if it's not one of the 3 Playoff games

I had us at 9-3, and I'm leaving us there for now. I figured out of LSU, TAMU, AU, UA, and UMiss, we could go 2-3. I really didn't think we would win @LSU, but I also thought Auburn was going to drop off a lot this year. I should upgrade us to 10-2, I guess, but I'm trying hard not to get carried away.

I originally said 8-4

But beating LSU put MSU +1 so I'm at 9 wins now. Next week is another chance to grab a +1. Auburn has looked beatable on the road. Beat them and 10 wins becomes real. Probably some koolaid but I thought Bama looked beatable, particularly how MSU matches up.
