Specifically Morrow & Jacobson? I had heard Morrow had visited ISU and that Jacobson wanted to, but I can't believe either would fit into that type of system. They are what they are and that's rebounders and put back artists, not stretch 4. If Morrow doesn't find a home, could or would Miles take him back on the team?

Morrow is not coming back. He just visited ISU, also considering Xavier, Marquette, and Pitt.

Haven't heard anything about Jacobson.

Would anyone with an ounce of common sense transfer here, knowing that the entire coaching staff is going to be gone after next year?? I guess they must really like the facilities.

Didn't Thomas Allen just commit here? Are you saying he has no common sense?

As a Graduate Transfer, he has only 1 remaining year left to play collegiate basketball. Miles and staff will be here at least that year. He may decide that playing his last year in front of friends and family to be appealing!

I believe due to injuruse, he could potentially get more than 1 year. The OWH story says he'd have at least 1 year.

A good fit for his style of game. They like to shoot so he should get his share of put backs. I hope he doesn't think he's going to be one of those shooters.

Marquette is bringing in a big Australian kid (Harry Froling) who played briefly at SMU, and he's a high post, mid-range type of player. He might pair very well with Morrow, who makes his living under the basket. Never been a fan of Wojo, but he seems to be putting together a pretty strong roster.

I doubt it. I think the "wanting to play a stretch four" talk is Husker spin. Personally, I think he just didn't like his role in the offense, i.e. he wanted to get more opportunities to get the ball on the low block or drive to the hole.

Those were his words in his statement and not spin from anybody associated with the Huskers. He wants to work on his perimeter game to try to get to the NBA and if I recall correctly he said he envisioned himself playing at the 4 and maybe 3. Good luck to him.

I'm surprised there seems to be absolutely no news or internet chatter about Jacobson. Not that I expected teams to beat down his door, but he was a serviceable player at a Power 5 school who played a lot of minutes. These days that's usually enough to start a good bit of speculation about where a player is headed.

I bet Miles would give his left one to have him back.

He could get some minutes for Colorado. Buffs' talent level peaked a few years ago and has been on the downslide since Tad Boyle ran off veteran assistant Tom Abatemarco, who is now on the staff at Florida Gulf Coast. That guy knows how to find players.

I guess I never heard that. I remember reading that he wanted to develop his game, but nothing about being an outside shooter in a college offense. I think he's transferring to Marquette to play a similar role that he did at NU except that he'll get the ball more often.
