What incentive does a lame duck HC have? Why not allow a coordinator to step up as "interim". Then at leastthere isthe incentive of getting HC experience for future job considerations. Nothing Nutt does in these next three games will help or hurt his resume, so why bother?

happening. Now I could see them insisting to the new coach that Brewer be given the offense which could make it difficult to make a good hire. They really seem to like the guy and they have the history of Vaught legacy to deal with. <div>

With all the hell that has been raised I don't see another option for them at this point. This is the bad part of them having no success at all. We all enjoy it while it's happening, but now they might actually 17 up and hire a good coach.
