When a simple play action was all they needed. The way #22 was running, I just knew SC was going to get torched with a play action. Instead, we got some crazy *** slow developing reverse play against a defense that has been successful with pressure.MSUCostanza said:A reverse??!?!???

Nutt's a good coach, but his legacy has been to underwhelm when there were high expectations. That's what I was referring to.

You're right about the guy's legacy, but it's a lot like Richt's legacy of not being able to get to a BCS title game, or Tommy Bowden's legacy of not being able to take Clemson to an ACC title. Only fickle, spoiled fans complain about stuff like that when they're still getting a good product. But of course by nature, college fans are fickle and spoiled.
When he was supposedly so good last year, he was still only throwing for 210 yards a game. Now I'd take that in our situation, but that by no means makes you an elite quarterback in this conference, much less a Heisman trophy contender.CowtownDawg said:Snead lost something somewhere between last season and this one. He looked like garbage against Memphis for 3 quarters and like garbage all night tonight.
