I love to see the Reb fans blame their recruiting class on the coaching change... However, In O's first year they signed a top 15 class, if I recall correctly. So, obviously, if that.... thing.... could do that in his first recruiting class, then Nutt could do the same.

Ed Orgeron's 2005 recruiting classes is one of the worst recruiting classes in recent SEC memory. Go look it up. Half the class was gone by 2006.

Edited to add: If you are talking about his 2006 class which was in the top 15 (or at least around 15), to say what you said at this point is dumb. Nutt has 6 months until his class needs to be judged. Its freaking July.

Actually, I Diamond has a healthy dislike for me. I was just saying that on his original point about what the recruit said, I could see how another recruit could actually end up saying something similar to what he posted simply by misconstruing Croom's recruiting strategy if he heard something 2nd hand.

That said, it was still pretty stupid to come here and post it. He posted essentially the same thing on Nafoom and got made fun of by most of the posters, yet he still thought it was a good idea to come with that crap here. He obviously takes this recruiting stuff very seriously, and he gets offended that I don't.

REALLY!! Phillips last I check was back to being solid to MSU, Bumphis wasn't even considering OM unitl camp, and I think OM is way behind with him. I would be very surprised if OM landed Thames, because his uncle Marcus lives in Starkville during the offseason.

Do I think OM will get some players? Yes, but I don't see them land any of the big name kids in state. Nutt is not recruiting MS, regardless what Yancy and Neil say, he and his staff are not recruiting MS.

1. When was the last time you checked oh Phillips? Was it before he went to the OM camp? So surely nothing can change after something like that happens.
2. I didn't say anything about Bumphis. I think he'll go to LSU. So I don't know where you got that.
3. You really think he's going to state cause his uncle will live there during November through January? And Dennis will be back in Louisville for Christmas I would guess. So basically you think Thames is going to State. I'm not saying state is out of it. I just think OM leads.
