With 2 outs in the first inning and no one on base Cam was looking pretty good. The Jays then proceeded to get dinky seeing eye hits and broken bat hits to score 3 runs. I figured it was not going to be the Yankees night so I decided to watch something else. Good decision on my part. I did switch back once and saw Stanton's home run. Checked the box score this morning and saw that the pen continued the trend of every reliever that entered the game allowed a run.

One thing I have not mentioned this year that is bothering me and it just reared it's ugly head in today's game again. It's the Yankees inability to consistently turn double plays. Either Volpe plays back waiting on grounders losing precious time or he double clutches the throws or tosses them too slow underhanded to Jazz. The pivots by Jazz is he also double clutches the ball or fails to make a clean catch and neither of them throw ball to first base straight on their pivots. Toronto just scored a run because the Yankees had a chance at back to back double plays and failed by a step on both of them because of what I just mentioned above. And I'm falling out of favor with Gil. His walks are out of control. 2 straight walks with no outs led to a run.
