Deviating a little, within my family, we/they had blueprint and design of a Korean shotgun that was recoilless. Keep squeezing (or hold down) and it would shoot double 0s into the same pattern. Saw film demonstration of it shooting a hole into cinder/concrete blocks that the shooter walked thru the hole shot into the wall after one clip. Patent office and Firearms would not give permission to manufacture the guns in the US - too much killing power was reason given for turn-down.

I thought it would be a hell of weapon to take into a drug bust or close range military ckirmish.
They made it. I own one. USAS-12

The preferred weapon to kill feral pigs here in Texas is an AR 15 style rifle with a silencer. I have a Century 93, an H&K knock off.
Made from H&K parts imported from military surplus and a US made barrel. It shoots 5.56/223 with recoil about like a 22LR. I think it is bad ***. I only shoot at 100 yds, open sights.

Thanks for info. May have a piece of it if I can find out who mfg co is. Sure I threw certificate away thinking it is worthless when it was turned down and no one mentioned it again.

And if I may ask, what in hell do you want with such a monster. A collector?

An opportunity came up from someone I knew who needed money very badly and asked me if I wanted to buy it. I knew it would be safe in my hands.

It truly has no purpose or application. It's heavy as ****. I've only played with it a number of occasions. Once took a the whole drum to work on a snowman. The video they shot of it shows a flame about 8 inches. If you like to burn ammo just for sake of shooting, this is the one for you.

You sometimes see guys running Saiga's at 3-gun matches.... seem like more trouble than they are worth.

Looked at history and could not make a connection between Gilbert and the actual mfg co. Don't know how to make connection and will resign myself to fact that .
