O/T: Leasing hunting land

Would like to find some hunting land to lease in the Jackson area. Anyone have any advice on how to find this?

I usually find mine on Craigslist

In fact I was actually looking up some dove leases today. Around here so far it's the normal $200 per two guns for the season.

A word to the wise, especially if you are looking on craigslist or any other ads, stay away (far away) from anyone named Cal Burwell or Calvin Burwell or TLR I believe his middle initial stands for Logan and last name is Russell. Not sure on first name.

TLR, outside of being an obnoxious rebel fan, is the gestapo of leasing hunting land...not worth dealing with.

Mr. Burwell has been in and out of court for years in Madison county for leasing land to hunters he didn't have the right to. Also for putting hunters in trespassing situations. TLR is an ***...on multiple accounts people have said he will move your stands and not tell you, will dog cuss you if you do something he doesn't like. He runs his clubs like a friggin dictator. I have had some friends in his clubs who couldn't wait for the season to end so they could get out. Do yourself a favor and go to bullnettlenews.com/forum and search for these guys and just read the multiple accounts of issues people have had.
