They’re worse than they’ve ever been. It’s a 17ing train wreck. No coach could help this team. Lot of talented players in Europe. But they don’t care about playing for the national team. No heart at all.

BTW looking at the starting lineup, I’ve never even heard of 6 of these guys. And another only because he’s Berhalter’s son. And I follow soccer. This isn’t even our B team. Pathetic.

Well, a lot of the good players are taking a sabbatical because they're exhausted from the season. Pretty ****** if you ask me.

I never thought we were as good as some pundits wanted to think we could be, but I did think Berhalter was part of the problem.

I was wrong - it’s this group of players and the younger ones aren’t showing much promise at the moment either.

Poch doesn't appear to be the answer and we're paying a lot of money for him. Fire him if we do squat at the Gold Cup. Find someone who understands our player pool and knows what we're not capable of. We've also always had good goalies but now we don't and that shows.

If only that sentiment would spread to other countries. I’m tired of Liverpool players getting hurt on international duty.

Did they wear that rainbow crap in the numbers? Then let them lose. Imagine a national team that just wore the colors of our nation. What a concept.

No coach could beat anyone with the players we put in the field last night. Question is what, if anything, can be done to get the A team to commit to play. But you’re right Pochettino isn’t the answer.

I saw that some of them don't play for the USMNT because they're "tired" or "hurt", but then they play multiple games for big pay for their club teams. THAT is really shittty and shows you where their heart is.

Meanwhile the big stars for other countries manage to suit up.

Donovan called Pulisic out for this and it's created outrage, mostly because Donovan did the same thing during his career. But it's a valid point.

I thought new coach would help. I know these are friendlies but be competitive.
The ONLY reason I say pump the brakes is because we are missing almost every one of our starters for this summer. It's pathetic that so many of them could care less about playing for their country, but it's a fact that that you will only see a few of the guys you saw in the past two friendlies in the World Cup. Other countries don't seem to have as big of a problem recruiting their starts to play for country, but we do.

With that said, even with our second and third string guys we should have made a better showing. The Swiss game was a phenomenal lack of effort and toughness. Maybe the worst showing I've seen from a US squad since the Trinidad game, and maybe even worse than that. This team doesn't care, lacks effort, lacks creativity, lacks organization, and lacks pride (in Country). They're obviously more concerned with pride in something else running around like a bunch of weak minded drones in those rainbow flag jerseys.

As much as I like watching the USMNT play, I almost enjoyed watching them get relentlessly pounded in those weak rainbow jerseys. Those jerseys just scream weakness to the world.

Our A team looked quicker and more fluid under Poch early in his tenure. Last night’s first half lineup was a disaster and we are not deep enough for our 3rd and 4th options to compete with anyone outside of the bottom half of CONCACAF. The last few games aren’t on Poch IMO.

They probably just don’t care or really play hard because soccer sucks so bad.

Sorry. Couldn’t resist.
