You haven't watched very closely then. The guy at CDC explained everybody carries the virus. What bit Shane? Did you miss Milton's experiment on the old dude? Somehow, I don't believe you've watched every episode.

1. Explained at the end of season 2 when Shane turned. It is revealed this is what the CDC whispered in Ricks ear at the end of season 1.
2. Explained in Season 3 when they capture Michone and Andrea. Michone calls the Gov out for putting his knife in the brains of the dead helicopter pilots. He explains to them you turn no matter what, they are all infected.
3. Mentioned again when they ambush and gun down the helicopter's military buddies. Don't waste a bullet, go knife them in the head.

Sure it has been mentioned other times this season.

A walker bit Shane. I guess I just don't understand. I have watched every episode. But I'm not gonna sit here and argue that with you.

Well then just accept it - it has been brought out that all of the living are infected. When the living die, they become walkers. Unless their brain has been injured. Any puncture of the brain kills a walker. And anybody that dies with a brain puncture stays dead.

Thats why Andrea killed herself with a gunshot wound to the head. So she wouldn't become a walker.

A walker did not bite Shane. That was mentioned a few times in the last episode of season 2, including the last few minutes with the big reveal for the end of the season being you turn no matter what, Rick saying this isn't a democracy, and panning up to show the prison in the distance.

Also, Darryl noted in that episode where Shane died that the kid they were chasing thru the woods didn't have any bite marks but had turned.

Lorrie worried about it and talked to Hershel about it at the prison because she said if the baby died inside her it would turn into a zombie and kill her from the inside.

No need to argue. You are just wrong, and everyone here has proven it to you. If you don't want to believe it, then that's your problem.

You may have watched, but you haven't watched closely. It's been pointed out several times. Rick explains it to the group as plain as could be on the last episode of season 2 (I believe).
