Why should I care what Oklahoma does with the portal?
Portal losses are not all bad. Sometimes players are told they are not a fit here, or will not see any playing time. Sometimes a player is buried on the depth chart. Kids want to play, If we do lose 30, half or more will be due to them being told to move on. Not an indicator that something is wrong in the program. That said, if you lose starters who already have had a lot of playing time, then you begin to wonder. Hartzog is one that puzzles me. Guy has been a decent player for us.
I totally agree. I didnt indicate that the sky was falling. Some folks are pretty sensitive. The numbers of folks exiting is something to take note of though.
If you did not make the playoffs and you are keeping most of your team...you are doing it wrong.
