Oakland just took MSU to overtime. Should have beat them.

Sh%% happens. These days you better be ready to play every night no matter who you're playing.

That was a good game. MSU might have been flat, but Oakland's Kay Felder is also a beast. Had heard we was a great player, but hadn't watched him before tonight.

That game was a lot like when we beat them up there..perfect mix of Mich St injuries and the underdog playing above their head...MSU is pretty damn good when healthy

I'm guessing people would be more forgiving of those type of losses if we werent coming off a year where we went 13-18.
Yeah but we're not the undefeated #1 loaded with talent YET either.Winking A loss to Oakland for MSU would have been more inexplicable than our's to Samford.

I understand a few CU football fans are thrilled that they had the same won loss record as NU. Are NU fans really this desperate to defend the Miles Show?

And, Mich St would have then went on to win 20+ games with another deep run in the tournament and NU basketball will likely be under .500 again this year...again. It's not just the Samford game....we have not looked good for a year and a half now.
