The stars and bars is different from the Confederate flag with the St. Andrews cross. And as Halpert said, it's OK to be jealous.

Does anyone else not think it could possibly be fake? I mean i don't care one way or the other, but the "The President" tag looked kinda photo-shopped and really fake to me. I don't know much about politics and all the rest, but I the tag just threw me off a little bit.

that so much has been made about this. He got it while he was in Oxford for the debate. It was probably given to him as a gift. I'm sure McCain has one just like it. I doubt he gives 2 ***** about Ole Miss. I doubt he thinks twice about it being a symbol of racial reconciliation. It's a nice bag, end of story. Some people will make something out of nothing every chance they get, I suppose.

the president wouldn't use party favors as his luggage. I suppose Dicky must have paid a good amount if he's still carrying that one around.

he does actually have some knowledge about sports (particularly recruiting which he says he does not follow) and that helps. of course he comes to the rescue of OM in most instances but we do need a resident OM fan to keep some of our threads going anyways. otherwise we would all be agreeing all the time (unless C34 is involved since he hates MSU).

and i get to post this every once in a while. so i like him posting.
