Great road win. We has our crap moments but overall we just did more right than they did. Props to everyone except Randy. If I were an Ole Miss bball supporter, I'd be pissed. We had a ton of folks and were loud and obnoxious. There is no reason that many State fans should have been there.

Literally giving away hundreds of free tickets to any UM fan that would go just to try & keep MSU fans out.

heck is that about? Granted, Barry did not have his best offensive performance but please do not forget early in the game he was very effective and made half his three point shots. He played 34 minutes and played HARD. Yep, he missed 3 free throws from the line and was not great but if one plays 34 minutes in a game like that he does make a contribution.....11 pts and 5 rebounds. Take away the 11 pts and who wins? Take away 5 rebounds...who wins? Props to BS for his hustle and his defensive effort...he is all over the floor and his effort on D is often overlooked.

It's pitiful and scary that I'd rather see our two post guys on the line than our starting SENIOR 2-guard and back-up point guard. Missing 3 FT's on a single foul is not acceptable.

He doesn't have to stand at the line. He can back up. And Bill Raftery, Jr. pointed out that Stewart's FTs hit the back rim more often than not.

You could hear it loudly at the end of the game, even over Mr. OD'ed-on-Prozac Wenzel's spastic commentary. WOOOO damnright

Because 3 years ago we had a starting 2 guard that shot 45% for the season.</p>

But, he's painfully streaky. He had 5 good minutes in the first half and then checked out the rest of the game on offense. Seniors with his minutes can't check out. I think he'd prefer to attempt to draw a foul rather than actually giving himself the best opportunity to make a shot. On the occasion when he air balled the wide open look he took in the 2nd half, I think he did that because that was the first shot he took in the 2nd half where he wasn't trying to sell a foul.

At any rate, I typed that as I was leaving the game. His brain dead stretch in the 2nd half where he pretty much single handedly was responsible for a momentum swing in favor of Ole Miss was fresh on my mind. I could have easily said no props to Kodi. He is stubborn and dumb as a rock on the court. He takes the most inopportune shots. However, he is a freak athlete and get's it done by raw talent alone. If he ever accepts some coaching, he'll be All-SEC.
