Yea who could have predicted a LeBron James sycophant / ESPN commentator wouldn’t have instant success coaching mid-major D1whoa...guess the "Woj" affect hasn't set in yet....?
lol. And remember he supposedly was who we had to be scared of re: TindaleYea who could have predicted a LeBron James sycophant / ESPN commentator wouldn’t have instant success coaching mid-major D1
It was never that great, even in the ‘80s, which had a lot to do with playing in Landover. I remember Thompson was critical of crowds for some of their Big East road games when the joke was they didn’t draw at their own home games.Their fan support is so shockingly bad. I’ve never truly appreciated how bad until recently.
I’m not high on them but maybe I’m wrong this year. Some folks connected to college hoops are saying otherwise. Maybe that’s to help out Cooley publicly since he’s been a disaster. Or maybe some think that a healthy Jaland Lowe will be a gigantic difference maker and bring together the other talented parts they have.
KY was legit good good last year for the very brief spell they had a healthy Lowe and the big kid (blanking on his name) who had transferred in from ASU and got drafted.
I concur with this. Sounds familiar to our situation.I used to live in the neighborhood next to Gtown. An on-campus facility will never happen. Their fans have fantasized about the University purchasing and building on property of the now-demolished Key Bridge Marriott in Virginia across campus, but there’s no indication the University is interested.
