Odds that LSU fires Miles at the end of the year?

I have a hard time comprehending that, but it sounds like people are talking about this. Wow. I think they would be well served to look at what happened to Tennessee. Frankly, Miles should ask for a reduced buyout and walk away, he deserves to be treated better IMO. Doesn't matter to me if it's the fans and or sportswriters making this noise, or the administration, I'd be tempted to walk away if they didn't appreciate what he's accomplished there.

Miles would be a stud coach in the B1G....not that it helps Nebraska if he is out after this season.

I think they give him one more year. With all the coaching vacancies in college football it will be tough to find someone better.

Texas could still can Strong, I don't think that is out of the question. If they did, that gives you USC (both of them) Miami, LSU for job openings...wow. Not a great year for top tier programs needing a coach.

maybe not, but things are so fluid anymore its hard to count out possibilities. it'll be interesting if the b12 gets left out of the playoff again...some of them might look to other opportunities.

I remember going over to Texas board when we announced we were leaving, asking them if they had any concern about all the defections. Never met a more arrogant bunch. It's kind of fun to see their arrogance come back to bite them in the ***.

I doubt he's fired this year but Cameron might get the ax. If so I'd love him as a co OC to Langsdorf as a run game coordinator..

There is talk that LSU is interested in Tom Herman. Tillman Ferritta (multi-billionaire) is negotiating to keep him with the Coogs long term and has said that the offer upping his salary to $3M is just an initial offer - they could pay more. Herman would likely put together an incredible offense with LSU's athletes. However he is having a lot of recruiting success in Houston and if they get a big twelve invite Houston has lot lot of upside. Anyway, there is smoke on LSU putting out feelers.

Didn't Bo say the microscope happens nowhere else when he trashed the place "his guys" will call their alma-mater? This is all terribly confusing.

There is already a ready-made coach waiting in the wings. He used to be an assistant there who won a national title merely by his presence. They would be stupid not to hire him, and pay him a boatload of money.

Trust me, pelini is not in their top 15.

Today's daily blather:
There is talk that LSU is interested in Tom Herman.
Who isn't?
Tillman Ferritta (multi-billionaire) is negotiating to keep him with the Coogs long term and has said that the offer upping his salary to $3M is just an initial offer - they could pay more.
Yeah, that's what smart rich people say: " I can pay more, just ask" SMDH at that statement.

Herman would likely put together an incredible offense with LSU's athletes. However he is having a lot of recruiting success in Houston and if they get a big twelve invite Houston has lot lot of upside.
Oh, you mean the upside that UH would have being left out of the playoffs because of no B12 championship game?

I would say the odds have increased substantially today he will be fired.
