ODU vs Notre Dame. What was your reasoning for picking one or the other?

How many picked against ODU because we beat them? How many picked against Notre Dame because of Hans?

I took ND because of the former, and because I think ND has a little too much firepower for ODU. They are a good defensive team but not great scorers.

But I wish ODU would win. I'm tired of hearing about freaking Luke Harangody. How many years has he been at ND? He must be on the Grant Hill/Ontario Harper plan.

Actually, the vast majority of my picks this year are based on pure seething bitterness. I also think John Chaney takes Cal out with a folding chair (with Jimmy Hart cackling in the background) after Temple takes out UK in the regional semis.

so, getting this one thing right means I get to gloat about my awesome powers of prognostication for as long as the board exists, correct?

Because Hansbrough is still a virgin, and I can't stand the randoms who claim the team with no ties whatsoever.

I watched them in the CAA Tourney and they looked like a solid team.

4-1 so far on the day, with the only blemish being Vandy %*#!%#@ up at the end. If St. Mary's gets through I'll be relatively unscathed at this point in the tourney, since it looks like KSU will rout North Texas. Need UTEP to whip Butler's ***, Northern Iowa to win as well, and chalk the rest of the day.
