Harward cited family and financial reasons for opting not to take the job, he is a senior executive at Lockheed Martin... probably a pay cut and he wanted to bring in his own people...

there are dozens of flag officers available to choose from...

I doubt if he was scared due to what happened to Flynn. Flynn self destructed and the country is better off for his departure. It's good that him and his son are both gone.

Actually, he was quoted as saying that he wanted no part of this "*** sandwich".

Which, The NSA, doesn't have to go thru confirmation we know that is true, or his wife? Somebody was talking about him and I thought they said his wife had passed away. He's making really good money now and after 20 years of active, deadly service, he may have chosen to make money while he could. Nothing wrong with that. Better than hiring people like John Kerry, Susan Rice, Holder who were completely incompetent in their jobs.

Don't blame anyone for not taking the top govt positions and expose family and associates to the unfair scrutiny that the low life and losing politicians needlessly put one thru. I would take a Czar appointment if ever called on. Don't know of any who had to try to get their good name back. CNN James was exposed and I am not sure he had a good name previously.
