I loved bob baffert on eastbound and down. Dude loves the best overall horse to a scratch but his other 3 could win or finish 1-2-3. Every year at this time you can always plan on seeing him celebrating.

I don't think you can blame the track for it either. The jockey momentarily lost control of his horse and after that there is only one response left. Disqualification. So unfortunate.

This is seriously a point of contention: How many winners had MS in their bets and how many had Country in their bets? Obviously Churchill won with this decision. My father was cheated into 5-6 figures in a single weekend at CD bc of stewards and swore off Horse betting and all his ownerships that weekend. This backlash will be off the ******* charts

The payoff is a rigged deal. Churchill wins no matter what happens.

CH was the beneficiary of MS getting DQ. Amazing!! Probably never see this again.

Yep this was bad for horse racing imo. At a recent all time high off the triple crowns, they go and good this decision on what was arguably at best a foul.

To up end the derby and dq clearly the best horse; it better be clear as day and no question. It wasn't.

Way to go morons

The only horse with a legit complaint was the #1 horse. He was on the move when he got cut off. IMO, he had a shot had he not been forced to restart after stumbling.
War of Will got screwed over, he had a good stride going and looked to maybe win if MS shove a knee in his butt.
#1 was the only horse with legitimate beef but gets 0 to gain from the decision. Weird how that works out.
