The exact same play 3 x up the middle of course that wasn’t Kotelnickis call. Big Game James came through for the $20 million team.
Everyone knew this loss was coming. Even if this team gets into the playoff, they will never come close to a NC.
Franklin is Penn State's version of Kirk Ferentz.
I never saw that one. I should make more time for some classics, I guess. He was fantastic in Lincoln.
Despite my frustration with play calling and apparent lack of preparation... players got to make plays. Wallace got outmuscled on that pick before the half. Poor tackling. Haven't seen Singleton be explosive in awhile... running or KO returns. Allar struggled against the pressure again. Someone has to step up and make a big play to have a chance.
After today’s game, I seriously have come to the conclusion that CJF is never going to beat OSU.

There was enough talent at every position to win this game with the exception of WR. This is the worst WR group at PSU since 2004. Wallace is the lead WR and only has 350 yards and 2TD, 117 of the yards came against WVU
I loved it too but not so sure after this game. Who was calling the plays on that last 1st and goal series?
Not sure I have ever disliked a coach as much as Ryan Day.
Nothing against Allar, but Beau had a great game last week and he completely disappeared when it's plain to see that the passing game was struggling and the offense needed a spark. Then on 1st and goal from the 3 they think they'll run out down OSUs throat.
The sad thing is: this game doesn’t actually matter, and that’s the spin Franklin is going to feed everyone at the press conference. If we win out, we host a playoff game, and Franklin will say, “We made it to the playoffs!”

Have a friend who’s a big benefactor. He’s at multiple practices and on the field , and he says James is looking to go . We shall see .
This was the most vulnerable OSU team of Franklin’s tenure here. And they physically dominated Penn State’s offense.
This staff and the revolving door of coordinators can’t get it done. In a year when all the stars were seemingly aligned.

Now now…the refs would not have ruled that OSU fumble a touchback if the fix was in.
Face it. PSU has a staff that is incompetent. They can’t call a decent game. And the players they recruit aren’t as good as big time programs. The refs know the deal and aren’t going to reward that.

I'm sure tomorrow morning we'll all be able to sign on and read criticisms of the "BWICAC" for having the gall to criticize those three excellent play calls from inside the three yard line. They will tell us that James did not pucker up yet again against OhioState, that those plays would have worked perfectly if only the players had executed, blah blah blah. I have no idea how Franklin or Kotelnicki can look Tyler Warren in the eye after NOT getting the ball in his hands on that series. Jesus, line him up three times in the wildcat and we score. Anything but those idiotic play calls.
Howard was a stud at KSU, probably a mistake, Allar has been ok but hasn't lived up to his hype just yet.

OSU didn't have trounle running up the middle, or outside or any damn where they pleased. Win your fing battle up front

Let Drew finish the year and then encourage him to pull a Levis. Franklin can’t develop this kind of pocket QB and the tools aren’t here for a traditional drop back and throw it player. Just let Beau run around and throw it next year. Maybe it works. Otherwise, just ride this awful Franklin contract out and start over when it does.
