The defense is a concern what used to be our strength our rock we are not stopping anyone the last 2 games.

How is A&M up 16-2 in the paint ?

Calipari getting out coached in the SEC. This is more than energy. It's spacing and execution. Cal doesn't have them ready at all.

Maybe we should schedule more road games during the non conf season so they can learn how to play on the road we play like 10 home games every year.

A&M getting away with a lot of contact in the paint.

That said Cats look like they are only giving 50%

Unlike the last game, this feels to me like a loss coming.

Our bigs are weak. No idea what has happened here. Can't finish, getting beat to rebounds. What was up with WCS a not challenging that drive??

That's the problem with having so much size - we don't get the calls in the paint because we don't get moved around as much when we get hit. Thus, in the refs eyes, it must not be a foul.

I think it would be good for this team to get beat. I wonder if the whole "undefeated" moniker is messing with the young guys?

I didn't really worry too much about losing to Ole Miss because I knew at some point they would start missing all those tough jumpers they were taking. I can't say the same about A&M because they keep getting layups, can't expect a team to start missing layups.

If we are going to win this game it will have to be because of defense at this point. I know they can play it. I sure hope they decide to do so.

Agree. It's not like we were "pretty good" on defense and now we aren't quite as good. We were defensive world beaters and now we are getting our arses handed to us. It's bizarre.
