Somewhere along the way, during camp Cal, they totally forgot about the defense they were playing. They're going to have to get that defensive mojo back, quick. We can do it, but it sure is frustrating seeing how this game has played out so far.

Even if they do, that doesn't negate what's been going on. Lack of drive, lack of effort, no toughness from the bigs, no defense. That's every troubling.

One thing I have notice in the struggles lately is that the refs are letting the teams play at the rim. We have struggled (and everyone will) to utilize our size because it is hard to finish inside. With our length Cal has taught our kids to try and defend without fouling and just block the shot. When you can get by with contact you don't have to have the length to be effective.
