Skal doesn't look like he could crack last year's 10 - I certainly wouldn't play him over Karl, Lyles, Lee, WCS or Poythress. He has a lot of work to do, needs a lot of muscle.

I have been really underwhelmed by Skal. Not a good defender, weak rebounder, average on offense. Not sure what he does well at his point.

I think it's a matter they simply refuse to feed the post. They've just played "Archie Goodwin" ball,, drive to the hoop with their head down and hope for the best; totally ignoring Skal.
I think this team is going to start putting us on the line. better start making some throws.
Ill. ST tries to foul Hawkins on purpose (IMO) cause he sucks at shooting FTs and he makes two in a row. Go Hawkins!
This team will be above 33% at the end of the year. Murray and Ulis are definitely better than Wall and Bledsoe from 3.

Gotta give ISU some credit; they came out ready to play, and played well. Of course, had we had Tyler, it would have been a totally different game all around.
