Did I call it or what?Tournament like game in mid-season. Opportunity to show what they are made of. How will they adjust to adversity? HOF coach will get it done. I say we play them even or better 2nd half.
Our bigs have shown the most improvement over the last few games. This team is getting better every game. This was the #1 ranked defense and we didn't have Fox.
They couldn't stop Fox. It was going to be a 40 point win.
NO!Ya think?
Couldn't guard Thornwell, 0 points, 4 fouls, 8 turnovers.
Maybe the worst night a UK player has ever had.
If Wenyen continues on this trajectory he will make this team so much better than what they are.Our bigs have shown the most improvement over the last few games.
Held them under 40% . In fact only one team has shot above 45% against us in the SEC. And it was the Ref game last time out. But our D sucks remember [eyeroll]
He gives us another solid rebounder and 3pt shooter, both of which are sorely needed. If Wenyen continues on this trajectory he will make this team so much better than what they are.
I honestly don't know how big the impact would be, but with his frame and athleticism, he can shred defenses and the boards. Hitting threes the way he is really opens the floor.
I don't agree. We outplayed them at their own game.Let's be honest though: SC has missed a ton of wide open 3's, and that's be a big part of the win, IMO. Without Fox we're just not the same team, particularly when our other guards get into foul trouble.
And not just an average rebounder or shooter either, what he's done the last three games is pretty impressive. His 3 point shooting has been phenomenal. He gives us another solid rebounder and 3pt shooter, both of which are sorely needed.
