That's not what I see. He stands straight up on d and gives nearly 0 consistent effort on that end of the floor. Have you not heard the cracks cal has been making about his poor defense?

See, I don't need Cal to point that stuff out to me. I've been talking about the guy defensively for a while now. Before Cal, actually. Fox is out there limping around. I don't see how you are missing that, but that's your view. He looks like it's bad enough for him to not be out there. We'll see in a bit. A bad defender is gonna be even worse if he's half speed.

I would not under any circumstance let Fox back in this game. he ain't ready to play and I am not sure if it is the bruise or just he wasn't ready mentally but leaving 4 guys open for 3's all of which go in is unquestionably unexceptable. Hawkins is playing great D and Briscoe can run the point like he is.

I really really really do not want to lose this game tonight. I will be sick for the rest of the week and I do not want to be sick for the rest of the week.

Normally I agree with you, but he's taking really bad shots like the shot clock is at 4 seconds when there's actually 20. You can get a turnaround fadeaway leaner off one leg anytime you want.

I agree he has taken some stupid shots tonight and all year really. Wish he would be smarter and allow things to progress offensively more often. I think that is one of the hardest Things for the really elite HS scorers to adapt to in big time college ball. Allowing the game to come to them.

But, we are more reliant upon him than any single player that I can remember. UK goes as Monk goes. He def has the shooters shooters mentality tho. No shot is a bad shot. Wish he didn't take it quite so literally. I just think if he don't get going UK is not gonna pull this out. Hope I am wrong.

I think we win the game.. But im not backing off my statement. You play like that for a half in the tournament and there's a good chance you go home.

Who has grown, really, aside frim Bam. Thats a problem.

I've always said, i dont care if you play bad or miss shots or make mistakes. Just put the effort in, listen to the coaches, progress.

It's March, don't really like what I see.

Vandy hit shots the first 12 minutes or so but that half was about UK playing horrible not about Vandy playing great. I still worry that UK might get down by double digits again. So far, it just feels like a "cut into the lead but never get over the hump because of self inflicted mistakes" type of night..aka the UConn NCAA Tournament games. I hope I'm wrong.

When you play at Kentucky you're supposed to be impervious to pain I guess. Contusions can be very limiting. I know, a bruise doesn't sound bad, but they sure as heck can be tough to maneuver around with.

I liked how Hawkins finally ran over the Vandy screener on the last play...they've been sliding over late and throwing a hip check on every screen tonight without a call.

I like us trapping their small guards with Willis. Hope we keep coming at them. We should trap them off the pick and roll action to create more chaos... if we play straight up they've shown the will just out shoot and executing us.

whoah dude
@LineSkiCat14 is a good guy, he's just incredibly frustrated with this team, as many are.
If we didn't know they were much better than this, we wouldn't get so upset.
We all still love our Cats
"Good dudes" don't post the things he's posting (kiss draft stock goodbye, wont beat a 16 seed, monk sucks, etc). If he IS a good dude and these post are out the norm due to frustration
, then as I said, he needs to step away from the computer til his tantrum is over.

Fox's +/- has to be -20 tonight. 4 turnovers, no assists and whoever he doesn't guard scores for vandy instantly.

Hope he can turn it around next half, we need him to play better.

Cals got to do something to change this new habit of starting slow ,needs to motivate these guys pre-game ,while I never felt they wouldn't comeback and win this game, like everybody said do this crap in the post season and it will be season over.
I just don't understand what the hell happened to this team, they looked like world beaters offensively until mid-January,started trying to play better defense and the offense has went to hell
