Don’t get why Pope is playing MD over Jelavic today.
Now that was a nice move by Mo. He looked like he wanted to take a desperation three, and thought better of it (good!) only to spin into the lane for 2 points on a goal-tend (we'll take it!).
Mo scored because of a goal tend, probably a mistake by TN
Does Pope just wait until the 2nd half to show up? Seriously? Does he think the game isn't hard enough that we need to spot teams 10-15 points?

If we'd made our free throws it's be a 2 point game in spite of the first half ref screwing.
Pope has said a few times now that he uses the first staff to gather data to determine the 2nd half.

I just can’t see a way to keep him. How? He can’t recruit. He can’t get elite players. He’s heading to the NIT if he’s lucky. There are no talented players coming, at best a few transfers and he can’t evaluate. Bring back what? Man, I mean I don’t know what it’s going to take for people to say this might be acceptable at Georgia, this is Kentucky. No you can’t run him back. It would be a disaster.

Mo BG and Noah are the blowout boys. You put that combination in the game and your team is trailing by 15 in 5 minutes. Pope becoming a basketball coach rather than a doctor probably saved thousands of lives but it’s screwed us and the program for years to come. He’s about as coach dumb as anybody I’ve ever seen. Shoujd trade him for Brooks and let him coach the women.

Nobody can defend him and be honest. They can hope he gets better but they absolutely can’t defend what’s happening anymore. Love and support the program yea. Can’t defend Pope.
It doesn't have to be to one extreme or the other. He doesn’t say anything with the BS calls. Do you think Hurley, Oats, Golden or any of the top coaches would not speak up. Do you really think we would get worse calls if Pope raised a little hell from time to time. Could the calls really be worse?
