Hopefully, right? What's the good of being a WVU if you can't wallow in self-pity?
Love the big wins like last week, but just haven't found enough consistency to be a contender. Better than last year, but still having too close of shaves with some average to below average teams.
It's the flu, the Big XII, hang over from last week, happens all the time to good teams, etc... Nothing to see here. Any concerns are just unfounded or trolling. Everything is fine.
This team no different than last year. Don't get me wrong, they are fun to watch and play hard. But when we don't get TO's, we are a very average team at best.
Had to know OU would drive all the way to the basket for the game-winner. If we don't get a steal in the backcourt from the press, the opponent can always drive straight to the rim and get an easy layup because we can't stop anybody from driving and the help defense is nowhere to be found. That's how TT beat us, that's how SFA beat us in the tournament last year. The secret is out. Get the ball over the timeline and drive hard to the rim.
Our 2nd half 14-0 run came with him on the bench. When he came back in, it was game over. Still, there's NO WAY that he should have made that shot in regulation. Esa has got to swat that ****.
With how fast Carter is, get it to him near half court and he has a shot.......but that Valpo play we tried, nah not so much.
I will say this....if Dax has his eyes on the ball, he can catch that and has a potential layup.
Well, let's be honest....if anyone thought this year we were a #1-2 seed then they must be on something. We almost will always be a #4-6 seed. That's good, and gives us a shot in post season. I said we were a 12-6 Big 12 team this year. We are now 4-2........can we finish 8-4? Maybe, but better chance we are more of a 10-8 team instead. The loss to TT I did not figure in to my prediction. Tonight's I didn't either. So that is 2 losses that I had as wins. Which means we would have to win some tough ones on the road.

I thought the team looked tired right out of the gate; maybe the flu plus road travel = hit the wall?
It wouldn't have hurt to shoot 60 or 70% from the free throw line in OT either. 3 for 8 is pretty miserable.
If you can't make free throws then you don't deserve to win and WVU was brick city at the FT line.
