Grunk put up good numbers today, which would have been way better without all the drops. Especially since he didnt have Singleton and Allen to lean on. Although Martin looked good today and got 100 yards. Campbell needs to retain him.Grunk’s first 3 starts were against Iowa, OSU and Indiana in that order. They were all top 5 rated defenses. He improved in each game and Penn State would have beaten Indiana if the defense could have prevented the TD at the end of the game. He impressed Cignetti who said afterwards it looked like Penn State found their future QB. I am not against bringing in Becht but he has 1 year of eligibility and Grunk has 3. Anyone who doesn’t see Grunk’s potential simply isn’t paying attention. It would be a huge mistake IMO to lose Grunk.
Even under duress Allar rarely threw to his check down RB's out in the flat. Grunk hit them 2-3 times today with accuracy.Grunk>Allar, I didn't think this a month ago.
He checks more boxes
I think Allar was sabotaged by the coaching staff telling him to take care of the ball and not turn it over early in his career. I think they were in his head and he never broke free of that.Grunk>Allar, I didn't think this a month ago.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes first round. Edge rushers are so coveted I could see it.And perhaps the most talented.

what's the point of bowl game practices and scrimmages with other team?
ACCHow did Clemson win 7 games? Their offense sucks.
He cemented his legacy as an all time Penn Stater.
It was just seven games, but seven important games ending with four consecutive wins. The team could have imploded, but Terry kept things together, and they improved under him. Terry will go down as a legend in Penn State lore. Plus, he’s all class.
Howard had a couple of catches and made a nice block on one of the runs to the outside by Martin. I did not remember seeing Denmark in the game, but Howard played significant snaps. For those that keep track, did any of the young WRs get many snaps? They seemed to be missing.
He was sabotage by the former staff and NIL peopleI’m happy with what Terry has accomplished but he really would have been legendary if we would have been able to keep the core of the recruiting class intact. That was the most disappointing aspect of his tenure.
I’m fully on board team Grunk.Grunk put up good numbers today, which would have been way better without all the drops. Especially since he didnt have Singleton and Allen to lean on. Although Martin looked good today and got 100 yards. Campbell needs to retain him.
That's a big ask. I think he maintained the team about as good as possible under the circumstances.I’m happy with what Terry has accomplished but he really would have been legendary if we would have been able to keep the core of the recruiting class intact. That was the most disappointing aspect of his tenure.
He never had confidence in himself to let it rip.Take care of the ball and no turnovers = sabotage
Oh, so the good teams on your schedule that you have to beat? Is Grunk beating Michigan and USC next year? Is he beating OSU and Oregon? That’s the next level. Is he the next level.Lots of QBs didn’t look good against Iowa, OSU, and Indiana this year. They were all top 5 defenses when PSU played them. Plus, they were his first three games in the starting QB role.
Oh, so the good teams on your schedule that you have to beat? Is Grunk beating Michigan and USC next year? Is he beating OSU and Oregon? That’s the next level. Is he the next level.
I’m just saying Grunk hasn’t beaten anyone of note. Yes, he has gotten better as the year wore on. And he was excellent today - against a 7-6 team with 24 opt outs.
I hope I’ve posted here enough that people wouldn’t label me a hater or a troll. I’m just being realistic about the facts of Grunk’s season.
He beat Indiana, until the defense said "not so fast ,my friends "Oh, so the good teams on your schedule that you have to beat? Is Grunk beating Michigan and USC next year? Is he beating OSU and Oregon? That’s the next level. Is he the next level.

Was I over emotional and critical during the Iowa/OSU/Indiana stretch? Yep, I’ll admit it. But I’m still not crowning him the guy yet. If Campbell likes Becht or another kid in the portal, I’ll trust him.
He won't be playing OSU or Oregon next season, at least until the playoff.Oh, so the good teams on your schedule that you have to beat? Is Grunk beating Michigan and USC next year? Is he beating OSU and Oregon? That’s the next level. Is he the next level.

He also threw a crucial pick in that game…Grunk’s first 3 starts were against Iowa, OSU and Indiana in that order. They were all top 5 rated defenses. Back in the day bowl games were a reward in someplace warm with a beach. Now if there’s a bigg enough check and players getting paid the school only reaps the reward.I’m talking about the non CFP bowl games. Make them a reward, not freezing your a$$ off in a baseball stadium that leads to bad football.
You were being a little unreasonable and now you’re doubling down. That’s your prerogative.Oh, so the good teams on your schedule that you have to beat? Is Grunk beating Michigan and USC next year? Is he beating OSU and Oregon? That’s the next level. Is he the next level.

And he shrugged it off and kept playing, like all the good ones do.He also threw a crucial pick in that game…

USC has 10 opt outs so far. They'll be reorganizing as well.Oh, so the good teams on your schedule that you have to beat? Is Grunk beating Michigan and USC next year? Is he beating OSU and Oregon? That’s the next level. Is he the next level.

If they prove themselves at VoTech and elsewhere, they can always portal back.I’m happy with what Terry has accomplished but he really would have been legendary if we would have been able to keep the core of the recruiting class intact. That was the most disappointing aspect of his tenure.
