Keep in mind, the pollsters don't watch the games. At best, they see highlights, and more likely: they only see final scores.

I agree. Remember that Ohio State was after him hard to flip him late in the recruiting cycle last year. He’s very athletic and hasn’t hit his full potential yet.
It’s been the Chaz Coleman show today. Played for Warren Harding, the first HS team I ever saw play. Our season tickets were right behind a former Harding player named Paul Warfield. One of the nicest guys I have ever met - a very easy going laid back guy, unbelievably.
If they’re going to lay an egg, then 34-0 is the place to do it! They know they weren’t great. And hopefully they’ll clean it up.
Early season polls are useless. They shouldn’t even come out until about week four.

Gotta give FIU credit, they played hard and only had two turnovers with the second one coming at the end of the game. Well coached team with some players. They’ll do better this year than last year.
The problem is the scheme. They recruit big nasty guys and then play cute, gimmicky offense.

Yep and some of our ‘fans’ actually want us to drop in the polls. Some people are only happy being miserable.
And a few years ago people were bitching that Franklin didn’t recruit big nasty guys. FFS.
Where is that ‘great’ offensive line we were all told we have?
Take it up with the people who said they were great.

Team should spend more time practicing 3rd and 1 than working on explosive play bs.
Moving the chains creates more plays and more opportunities for explosive plays.
I was pounding the table making this point last season.
It was clear that Singleton had developed into a capable receiving threat out of the backfield, and instead of embracing that, and using him in more receiving situations, to complement Warren, they just ignored it.
I don't understand how you have 0 weapons at WR, and then you have this guy that's a great athlete and you don't say, "We're gonna make a change." Not saying Nick has to lineup at wideout every time, but you get him some reps, and then your best players get more overall snaps, and the offense improves.
Like Joe used to preach: You're never as good as you think you are when you win, and you're never as bad as you feel when you lose. Still, LONG way to go.
Allar does what he does best, pad his stats Against bad Teams. Worse than Clifford in that regard.
Problem is on this board it should be you’re never as bad as you think you are after a win.
But if we beat them then they wouldn’t be good.
You have no credibility after what we just witnessed. Is O on tv tonite vs their fish? I’d like to watch that.

No wonder PSU never passes your eye test when they’re bloodshot or glazed daily.
