Are offenses allowed to throw the ball past the first down marker? PSU doesn't seem to have that in the playbook.They were keying on him, since we fell into the trap of relying on him too much toward the end. He was gassed as a result of overuse, as well ... you typically don't just need a quick TO to recoup from that. You need a few plays off.
Regardless, Singleton being in was the correct move. It just should have been short passes beyond the LoS (whether he stayed in to pass pro, or he ran a route), not a running play.
