Not sure about the penalty but QB was ruled to be lying on top of the UT player so he was able to throw it away. I heard just the tail end of it and apparently there was some controversy about what was actually being reviewed, the ref misstated something but the "rules expert" Pereira said there shouldn't have been a penalty.

What I don't like about that is if another defender hit the QB there they'd call unnecessary roughness, yet they also consider the QB to still be live and able to throw it away. Can't give QBs the benefit both ways.
Thank you.
I thought his wrist was down. And why not grounding? Targeting was about the 15th thing to worry about on that play.

I like Allen as a runner...faster Tony Hunt type goes forward all the time..

Allar has great poise and confidence!

nice throw by Allar to Washington, with a blitzer bearing down on Allar.

Flag thrown for roughing the passer, so 15 more yards for PSU.

It was a skinny post to Washington.

Oh, they are checking the play for potential targeting

Not that UT fans aren’t too HAHA! 🙂
I was referring to the UT fans. They drive me crazy. Most of the ones I know didn't go to school there and go to games for the social aspect, know little about the program, and disappear when UT isn't winning. It's a very different breed from PSU fans who tend to be very knowledgeable and invested, win or lose.

And Allar gives a HUGE FU to Ohio and the refs for not calling that hit targeting by sticking another TD on the board. :ROFLMAO:

Chop Robinson and Isaac with a tackle behind the LOS on a rush on 1st down. PSU had also blitzed, which may explain why both DEs came free

1st down play is a slowly developing play, where Singleton is tackled for a 4-yard loss

2nd down play Allar gets sacked

3rd down play (on 3rd & 20), it's incomplete.

3 & out and PUS has to punt

I know it's hard to maintain intensity when you're up big but that series was snakebit

I think he's saying the UT fans are insufferable. The answer is to not want either team to win. I'm rooting for UT as long as they revert to form later in the season.

Yeah I realized that upon review. And I agree wholeheartedly, I’m very familiar with UT fans. Spend a lot of time in Austin as my brother and my parents ended up there despite being raised in PA.

PSU has 5 on the line at the snap, rushes only 3, and then J. Brown knocks down the pass.

Ohio to punt, which is somewhat shanked, so PSU will take over around midfield
