Thank you.Not sure about the penalty but QB was ruled to be lying on top of the UT player so he was able to throw it away. I heard just the tail end of it and apparently there was some controversy about what was actually being reviewed, the ref misstated something but the "rules expert" Pereira said there shouldn't have been a penalty.
What I don't like about that is if another defender hit the QB there they'd call unnecessary roughness, yet they also consider the QB to still be live and able to throw it away. Can't give QBs the benefit both ways.
I thought his wrist was down. And why not grounding? Targeting was about the 15th thing to worry about on that play.
