It’s going to be really close. I have them able to pull enough riders but it’s within 4 points so it could swing if defeated teams don’t get wins for them.

I just did projections for Narrows and Galax (also PHGS and Chilhowie for C/D home field projection) with the following results:

Narrows is at 130 game points with 52 rider points for 185/8 or 22.75 avg.
They should win their next two games to end at 162 game points and I have them at 70 rider points for 232/10 or 23.20 avg.

Galax is at 130 game points with 52 rider points for 185/8 or 22.75 avg.
They should win their next game to end at 146 game points and I have them at 68 rider points for 214/9 or 23.78 avg.

This scenario assumes 6 total victories by Narrows opponents over the last two weeks while also assuming 5 additional victories by Galax's opponents. The win totals for Narrows opponents are 35 while I project Galax opponents with 38 wins. That and the 9 game schedule should secure home field for Galax in Region C.

Also of interest to the Maroon Tide faithful is that a undefeated PHGS will likely end at 24.6 based on my projections.
A once defeated Chilhowie team would end right at 24.20, so its a tight race all the way around.

I had Galax at 217 if Carroll, Martinsville and Auburn win. Which i know all of those getting a win is a big if. Im out in the road to day so i don't have my paper on me to go double check. But that would put Galax at 24.11

The scenario between Chilhowie and PH can’t happen as they play each other this week the winner of that will be 1 seed or am I missing something here

@Gunz41, that was in fact what I was saying. The winner of Chilhowie/PHGS is in the drivers seat to host the State semi for C/D. Its tight but I don't see enough wins from the region C opponents to put them over the top.

@MT FAN 91, I have Galax looking like this with current team wins and projected wins:

Glenvar 4, 6
Martinsville 0, 0
Carroll Co 2, 2
Rural Retreat 4, 4
Northside 6, 7
Fort Chiswell 4, 4
GW 6, 7
Auburn 4, 5
Grayson Co 3, 3
They have 33 opponent wins currently and end with 38 in my mind. I have two more for Glenvar and one each by Northside, GW, and Auburn. If they were to get two more wins with neither coming from Northside, then they would end at 24.22. I don't see a scenario where they end up any more than that as a MAX.

Chilhowie has a loss to Narrows this year

Ok...i had Carroll picking up a win over Allegheny and Martinsville picking up a win over Tunstall in a battle of the defeated. And once again thanks for figuring all of this.

My question is this what’s the point if PH wins 1 seed if Chilhowie wins 1 seed correct

Your question doesn't make sense, but I think what you are getting at:

If PH beats Chilhowie they would be at 24.6 and end at 10-0
If Chilhowie beats PH, they would end at 24.2 at 9-1.

Meaning the winner of that game will be 1 seed in D and have home field throughout playoffs.

Just to expand upon it, for just that game
PH: 32 points for the win, 13 for loss
CH: 34 points for win, 14 for loss

Made perfect sense to me didn’t need the point total whoever wins is going to be 1 seed

If PH wins out, no one can out pointing them. although I think there is a good chance of these outcomes of games , if so Galax might be able to out point chilhowie.

I have GW winning both games giving 4
Northside winning 1 more giving 1
Carroll County winning 1 to give 2
Glenvar winning both giving 4
A win against Grayson gives 16 plus 6 riders
That gives Galax 215 total for 23.88

Auburn, Rural retreat, Martinsville are the enigmas that would help us. Or to make it easy PH beat Chilhowie Friday then lose to them in playoffs. Lol

BUT we have to make it that far first. Alot of ball left to be played.

If playoffs had started last week in 1C

1 Galax vs 8 Bath County
4 Covington vs 5 Auburn

2 Narrows vs 7 Parry McCluer
3 GW vs 6 Grayson County

The playoffs are divided by 4 regions A,B, C, D
Each region takes the highest 8 seeded teams. Three rounds each region, Quarter finals, then regional semi finals, then region Championship.

The winner of region A plays Winner of B, the winner of C plays the winner of D. In the state semi finals.

That's certainly not from last year.

Maxpreps gets a lot of stuff wrong....Galax was the 1 seed in region C and Chilhowie was the 1 seed in region D and out pointed Galax. Galax had to travel to them for state semifinal. Chilhowie definitely was not a 6 seed last year...they were the 1 seed out of all of the west.

most certainly is. I copied it from the maxpreps website.

2016 is the last time there was 2 sides (East and West), they weren't split into 4 regions.

As of last year, went back to the previous 4 regions.

The strange thing is that the score (just checked Galax on fourseasonsfootball.com) is from 2018.

So I have absolutely no clue how maxpreps got the 1-16. My guess is that they were to lazy to change the format, so as you see Chilhowie #6, they are just the top team in their region and aesthetic wise the 1 seed that way

Carroll beating Alleghany is guaranteed, no disrespect to the Mountaineers. If Giles can hang "half a hunerd" on Alleghany in a shut out, Carroll will certainly win.
