Official visits remaining and filling out the class

I was going by the Herald's scholarship distribution list. Their list still accounts for Grim as a freshman. There is eligibility year, academic year, diploma in-hand, transfers, etc that can be factored into the discussion on who is leaving. Based on the Herald's list of 18 senior eligibility, a recognition of some players with diploma in-hand or transfers, and however Grim's scholarship is counted, Riley is quoted as saying about 6 more recruits. No matter how you slice it, it's about 6 more guys. I'm not approaching this from a fortune teller standpoint, it's more what do I know or think at this point in time.

I started this thread because I think I read that we offered two more new RB's this week. That indicates an urgency to fill a spot at RB. And we have high profile recruits expected to visit. Riley says we'll take about 6 more. It got me thinking. Landing a bunch of guys is great, but there's a price to pay, it's one of the limited number of scholarships. There's only so many scholarships to give. Don't take me wrongly, I'm NOT saying who we should or shouldn't take.

This question is "how do we fill out this class"?

Edit: Someone's answer could be 23 or 25 recruits total, but we get there with attrition.
OK, that article shows 18 but if you count the seniors it adds up to 20. Am I seeing it wrong? Also, there are technically 13 junior eligible as Lee will be considered a junior next year because of his appeal. I was also wrong about Grimms scholly. The chart on this website shows 21 freshmen, but I only count 20. So, if these numbers are correct it should be 21 available after the bowl.

Nebraska has 20 scholarship seniors that will be leaving and that counts Grimm's scholly that was given to a walk on senior(Nabity?).

20 seniors
+1 Derrion Grim opens up
+1 Dwayne Johnson graduates in December

We have 22 available scholarships for the 2017 class. B1G allows +3 so that takes us to 25. I assume Conrad and McNitt will go on scholarship, once again assuming both are in the 2-deep after spring ball. With that said, neither count against the 2017 class as additional walk-ons earning a scholarship typically happens in July or August.

I've heard a [current] junior already is hanging it up after the bowl game. That's another scholarship not factored up above, if indeed that's true.

Thanks. That OWH chart had the numbers wrong. I agree with the other poster in this thread that when Riley said 22, that was the base number and if they have a couple 5 star types, you take them and figure out numbers later.

I am wrong, and you are correct. I had just looked at their senior totals, but actually adds up to 20.
