I say we're headed out west (where the winds blow tall..). CS Fullerton in the Supers.

Gonna put Miami and JSU in Starkville with us.

2. USA
3. Miami
4. Jackson St

Paired with Florida St.

Also look for Ole Miss to be in Tallahassee thus setting up potential SR games of either State-Ole Miss or FSU-Miami

I think we host as the #8 or we're gonna end up being the #9 or #10 seed overall

So that puts us matchesd up with Tallahassee, NCST, Eugene, or Indiana in my opinion.

I say we host as #8 matched up with NCST

1. Miss St
2. Georgia Tech
3. Central Ark
4. Jackson State

Since most are going with South Alabama...

I'll say:

1. Mississippi State
2. Georgia Tech
3. Troy
4. East Tennessee State

That said... if we do get South Alabama, I think we'll get a major conference 3-seed, like the Pokes. Baseball America calls for this to happen.

Gotta be paired up with FSU or NC State, right?

Looking at Warren Nolan's Nitty Gritty, Bryant looks like they're going to be a 3-seed. Aaron Fitt is predicting South Alabama, Oklahoma State, and Saint Louis for us.

You're right he has impressive numbers...

Went the distance is a whopping 12 of 16 starts. 13-1 with a 1.99 ERA. Only 74 strikeouts in 140 innings pitched. Sounds like an elite Graveman type.

Keep in mind, he got his 13 wins against:

Seton Hall
Marist
Rhode Island
FGCU
North Florida
Northern Kentucky
Lipscomb
Stetson
Kennesaw State (twice)
Illinois-Chicago
Mercer

The last team on that list is pretty good, other than that... meh. His lone loss was to USC Upstate. He's by no means unbeatable, but he'd definitely be a challenge for our lineup.

I believe Jackson State is destined for Baton Rouge. There are several 4-seeds from the East Coast and Northeast area. It'd be nice to get one of those teams**, but I think the committee is gonna give us a 4-seed from the Southeast. Maybe we'll land Savannah State.

**as long as it's not Bryant.

Now ya'll know they will find the toughest 3 or 4 seeds they can and send them to our regional.

That's just how things usually go for us.

But that's where the luxury of being a national seed comes in, you get rewarded with somewhat of an easy path to Omaha.

Regardless of who is in our regional and who we get matched up with for the supers, we're gonna have to step the hell up and beat good teams.

And that's what I'm concerned about.

Guys will have to start hitting often and in clutch situtions, not committ costly errors like we have been used to seeing all season and our starters will have to basically over night become incredibly better.

But I'm excited about our first regional host in 10 years! Hopefully somethings will go our way around the country(ala 2007) and we'll get to host a super too or atleast get a more favorable matchup on the road somwhere.
