don't know one another at 2 different times. I could have posted it much earlier, but after dude # 2 told me I decided to post it. Take it for what it is worth. Some one posted this morning that CJ's mom had an interview scheduled and didn't show for it. Those 2 guys mentioned that as well. Now has a job with a group that has been a topic of discussion on the board.

I think Slive is on us with a microscope. Plus I think %%* wants things clean. What can you do, some people are just down right greedy even if they grew up State fans and its you dads dying wish for you to go to MSU. You can change character.

happening with several of our commits. We just need to play the game better, because Slive doesn't want to hear about it.

I'm not suggesting there are no shenanigans going on. I just t find it extremely unlikely that a group of attorneys would be so dumb as to employ the mother of a recruit in an effort to get the recruit to play football for Ole Miss. Do you know how dumb that would be? Cheaters are usually smart about the ways they cheat...they don't do it out in the open for all to see.

I agree. I also thought it was ******** that the richest lawyer in Ms. Would be stupid enough to try to bribe a judge for, to the lawyer, a small amount of money.

in the Marcus Dupree 30 for 30? Wonder if he was related. And did anybody else notice @speedbydupree tweeting about CJ during his official visit to OM?

I hope the NCAA blows this one wide open.

you are sick and tired of these ******** conspiracy threads and no one proving it or reporting anything. If someone knows something, report it or whatever you have to do and tell the board exactly where this information is coming from. If you can't, who gives a ****. Thanks. Bye.

The NCAA has not set any precedent stating you can actually pay parents. They said that the rules allowed a parent to solicit benefits, without the knowledge of the student athlete, and all would be well as long as the student athlete didn't know and the parent actually didn't receive anything. They also acknowledged that was a loop hole that should be closed. Now you and I both know that was a horse **** excuse in an effort not to suspend the highest profile college athlete in the country shortly before BCS time, but that's not important right now.

If there was indisputable evidence that Cam Newton or his father received any benefits, he would have been suspended. Of course, there could be a chance that the facts are still being sorted through at a snail's pace (on purpose) and they will be punished at a later date - but the point is, if you are paying recruits, you will be punished if you were dumb enough to leave a paper trail. The problem for the people that get burned by cheating is that cheaters are typically very wise about the ways in which they game the system. They know how to cover their tracks.

Know them well and they are well connected enough to funnell it through enough channels it would never be provable. Life in a small town...gotta love it. Power held by the few and awed by the many.

the people that would have the proof do not post on message boards, but info does leak out. It's a message board rumors where rumors are encouraged, not a court of law. Nothing has to be proven here. It's interesting to throw around conspiracy theories. Are some of these rumors being run into the ground? Probably. But guess what. You can ignore those threads and not participate in the discussion. It's not that hard. If you ask me, it's more fun than discussing our basketball team at this point.

If you know something then spill it.<div>
</div><div>And it response to Alcodawg, I'm still confused as to what the rumor is. A law firm hired a cleaning lady? I'd like for someone to lay out the details.</div>

MSU doesn't need anybody from a message board providing them with facts. The MSU staff knows and has/will report it. Just like they will report on several others. Example, a particular recruit not named CJ, Tobias, Brassell, or Whitehead whose momma accepted $10k from supporters of OM.

It doesn't matter though b/c Slive doesn't want to hear it. He will do nothing just like he did nothing with Cam Newton.

nothing specific, but if you look around on here, I'm sure you can find all lkinds of rumor detailsdiscussing law firms, $100k payments, lock boxes, etc. I'm not privvy to any of that info, so I don't have anything to spill for you.I personally don't care anything about the job rumor. That would be impossible to tie to a recruit's signature. Theyare free tohire whomever they please, and if that employee's son happens to be good at football so be it. As long as they didn't hire the recruit, there is really nothing to that.

I have heard things in the past that ended up being true, and the people I heard that information from do not post on message boards, or atleast not that kind of information.

or just more messageboard BS from our crybaby fanbase because a 17 year old wasn't scared off by the name "rebel" like all the white people on this board think they should be "<span style="font-style: italic;">if I was in his shoes"</span>.

but it is tax season and a single mother with low income would get several thousand dollars back in taxes. I don't know if CJ has any brothers or sisters but if he does that amount would go up even higher. Not to say that is where the money came from but it is a plausible theory. </p>

If all of these sources are so trusted and all of this information is so rock solid why won't anybody just name names? Put it out there.<div>
</div><div>Every time someone posts about any of this, it's done in a manner to create plausible deniability. If you have info, and you're sure about it, then post it instead of tap dancing around the issue.</div>

I said it was plausible. If you don't think it is not plausible then you need to take your hate blinders off and realize that people do spend tax refunds on such things and it is not impossible that this such a case. Again I am not saying I know anything about the situation but I am offering another theory if you choose to ignore it then nothing anybody is going to say is going to make a differance. Your mind is already made up.

It IS plausible someone would spend their tax return dollars on such items, it IS NOT plausible that's the case here. You seriously believe that a tax return has been filed already? You know most W2's don't go out until January 31. Assume it went out January 1, which it didn't, and Ms. Johnson is a helluva tax guru and filed on January 2, which she didn't, what are the odds the return was sent back within 3 weeks? I don't believe, until I see some proof that she bought anything, you apparently think she has and are now coming up with some of the dumbest suggestions to excuse it I've ever seen. It is not plausible she has received her W2 already, already filed her taxes, and already received her return as we sit here on January 26. That's just dumb as hell. But I also don't believe she's gone on some big shopping spree until I see proof of it.
