So apparently he deleted that share and the one right before it (an interview of some kind) in an attempt to cover up, but then shared the interview again to make it look the way it did before. However that interview has the same comments. Is that how Instagram works? I have no idea.

I’m not sure it would be possible to fake any more cringe worthy posts on Hugh freeze’s social media accounts than some of the real ones.
I do believe a local mega church gave him the pulpit at least once.

What's really sad is a lot of people still believe his bs. I inadvertently made a friend mad a few weeks ago when his name came up and I said he was a fraud. Friend got all huffy and defensive and said we'll just have to agree to disagree and move on. I let it drop. I really, really wanted to keep that conversation going though. But I thought it would damage the friendship, and it probably would have.

Unfortunately there is a not small branch of “Christianity” that buys completely into charlatans like him. There are some truly amoral people being held up as “great Christians” just because people agree with them on issues they give them a complete pass on the whole “love your neighbor” and “don’t be a dick” part of the whole thing. One of the biggest reasons I slowly moved to being agnostic.
