Committee hates this result. Now they either have to piss off the Pac 12 (if Washington looks good and wins again next week) or leave out the 2 loss Big Ten champ in Wisconsin (most likely) or Penn State.
If I'm Bama I prefer to play the 3rd or 4th best team in the Big Ten over Washington. I think Bama rolls any of their 3 potential opponents though.

It was certainly close. However, nothing on the replay clearly showed that he didn't get it.

I think there was a Michigan defender that made contact with him at the same time too. Although, it was certainly his teammates *** that stopped his forward progress, more so than the Michigan defender.

No way that call is made if that game is outside the horse shoe. Such BS. Ohio State always benefits from such BS officiating.
Not sure how anyone can watch the replay and objectively say that he did or didn't make it. It was very close and the replay didn't show conclusively one way or the other. That's why the play stood as called on the field.

My issue is that the call on the field was just automatically given to him because as soon as I watched it, I knew he didn't get it. The call should have been turnover and then review that crap.
This is the correct answer. The original spot was comically incorrect.
How can you say you knew he didn't get it watching real time when the slow motion replays, from multiple angles, were inconclusive? It was just one of those close calls that would have people complaining either way they had called it on the field.

Yes, he hit his own player. However, at the same time the Michigan player also hit his legs. It's not like he ran into his own player in the middle of the field, with no defenders around.
OT started with the ball on the tip of the 25 yard line. They didn't measure because the spot had the ball on the white line of the 15 yard line.
Just saw a clip on halftime of the Bama game of Harbaugh in his press conference. To say he's hot would be an understatement.
Which is why the "conservative" call would be to reward the defense for a great play, and force the replay to override you?
Could you have overturned the spot based on replay if they had spotted him short?
This is my consolation for the poor spot. Harbaugh is an *** and an IU fan. I hope he chokes on this loss.
I hate forward progress. I think you should be able to pick up and ippenent and carry him back to your end zone if you can. Football was better before forward progress.
It's not 100% conclusive but pretty close. Hard to argue against this picture.

OSU very well may get left out of playoff. Washington rolled over a ranked foe today. Clemson rolled today. Washington will have to beat a ranked foe (USC or Colorado) in the PAC 10 championship game. If they win, they're in ......... Penn State blew out a MSU team that OSU struggled with last week. If Penn State wins the big 10 title over Wisconsin you have to take them over OSU by virtue of winning the conference and winning head to head versus OSU. Bama is in. If Clemson wins ACC title they're in .

OSU missed two easy fgs. Mich threw a pick six, another int that gave OSU great field position, and fumbled the snap inside the osu 5, yet Harbaugh is blaming the refs............

OSU is not going be left out. Which is ******** because 1. They didn't get the first down 2. Now they can sit home during the Champ game weekend and not risk a loss or any injuries.
