scheduled the game today. Yes, State has some very influential alumni in the Houston TX area as does Okie State. Many egos involved. That's why the game was scheduled. Aside, the game did expose our offensive ineptness and changes need to be made. Our defense played great today.

I'm mad right now and don't like playing a team this good on day one. The only silver lining I can see is we now have 11 games to work on it instead of 4 games (5 including the bowl) after getting exposed by Bama. We were lulled into #webelieve last year with the schedule. No more.

 

[The Usual Suspect]

I am mad, but its not about scheduling. It's because in year 5 of this coaching staff we are in the same place as when they got here in terms of recruiting. Year 5 we should be able to schedule this game. I saw nothing extra special with OSU. Nice team sure, but they run a gimmick offense that most high schools in TX run. 8 teams in the SEC would beat them probably. The most effective/consistent offense we have had in 5 years was led by a Croom 2 star QB recruit that ran the option and weighed 240 lbs. Mullen was supposed to be able to recruit a QB, yet behind Russell we have very little experience. The lack of recruiting at QB and the OL is going to come to roost this year, because with this poor OL, our QBs are going to be hurt a lot.
