I understand that. Would think you'd have loftier goals. Iowa mindset, I guess.

they are thinking contingency plans if they end up with one loss in the CCG

lets give them a break ... we've had discussions about how it might still be possible for Neb to go bowling at 5-7

We owe you one. Now we can pretty much pencil in the Rose Bowl.
You still have to not lose to Purdue and Minnesota for that. A loss to us, would also result in them possibly choosing MSU over you if they don't lose again.
There is lots of football to be played young man.

I honestly believe we can and will beat MSU, this year alone we have takin our share of heart breaks, close losses and so forth. Tommy has had a rough 3 weeks or so and he and our whole team is due to come together and play some sound good football. Like you pointed out, this isn't your normal MSU this year. They have done just enough to win all of there games but thats it. I honestly think we play hard, sound, and good football this weekend and win a very close game, like last year minus the dropped game winning touchdown pass.

As for Iowa, im loving this game because you guys are playing good football and are up this year. The part i LOVE is that your guys strengths match are strengths to the T. With that said, i think we also beat you guys and finish the season 6-6 and a bowl win. We will see though, thats MY opinion. But beating 2 top 15 teams to finish the season would help the coaches, players and fans out a lot going into the off season.

You, my friend, NAILED IT, good call. You deserve a drink for that one, tell wife or G.F. that I said have authorized a free one and they are obliged to it. Use at your convenience. If they have any questions let me know.Winking
