Did we expect to beat Auburn at the beginning of the season? Maybe. Looked bad, kept it close, didn't win. The makeup of our team is setup for that. Did we expect to beat LSU? No. Wanted to keep it close, but LSU out everythinged us and beat us good like they usually do. This team is setup for that. We are 1-2, the season isn't over, and we still have winnable games left. Georgiais winnable, but we need to expect that game to be just like the Auburn game. We are gonna make mistakes, and we are gonna give ourselves opportunities to lose. The future of this teamfor this year and next year really needs a win next week. We need these guys to learn how to win an ugly game, because as of right now our talent level will only allow us to win ugly against an SEC opponent. I hope we can pull out a win, because if we don't, the season is lost.

play more than one game each this year, I'd say that 2-2 would not have been an unreasonable expectation. If we beat UAB, UK, Houston, Alcorn & OM I will feel like we improved a bit. Anything less than that will be a disappointment.

Guys- we just lost on the road to an undefeated team ranked #15.
We could have lost at home to a 1 win unranked Vandy.

Sure I don't wanna measure our success byanother teams failure, but just sayin...

of course most of us didnt expect to win. I'll tell you what else we didnt expect in mullen's second year, and that was to play as poorly as we did tonight. We looked lost out there. Thats not a good sign, especially when the head coach specialized in coaching offense for so many years. 5 interceptions, and TERRIBLE offensive line play! Wasnt the OL a supposed "strength" this year?

Isnt this the type of game that was suppose to be in doubt until the very end, because as a program we were "improving?" I didnt see any improvement from the last time we played down there.

We aren't there. We've regressed. We look like we've fallen from a 5-win team to a 3-win team. And that's pretty depressing.

we would be 3-0 with Ole Miss' schedule and, I might add, talking (unrealistically) about a 9 win season.

I still to this day don't understand how people thought we were going to win 7 or 8 games this season. We have a good ways to go talent wise to be able to play with the big boys. Add to the fact that our coaching staff has done a real bang-up job so far of preparing and coaching for games.

We were playing an undefeated lsu team at home at night I'd say we were competitive.

Normally we would have been down 35 to 0 in the first quarter in that situation.

We need a 17ing qb or an Anthony dixon to take the pressure off of relf and Russell Regardless of what c34 says.
