Mullen flirts with the Miami job by giving a half *** interview showing his ego (rightly so I might add) and then tells Foley to go screw himself? I mean Florda is the job to take here, not Miami, especially inMullen's case. Why show an interest in Miami at all? I don't think we came out of this unscathed. Geez, Miami? Why even bother? Seems like you just told all of your recruits you're open to mediocre jobs.

You just went to point Z from A to get to B. I have no clue what you were saying.

First off we have no knowledge Foley even offered Mullen and even if he did and even if he entertained offers from twenty schools thats his right. I love my job and the company I work for but if someone comes calling Im dang sure gonna listen. You never know what you may get and as bad as some want to admit it, Mullen is a football coach - and a human being. He owes himself, his family and his future everything and would be stupid NOT to listen.

Having said that - Im glad he is at state and this will not affect recruiting.

Hard to make sense of it if he did. No way I'm interviewing with Miami and then turning my back on Florida.

Perhaps it's hard for the rest of the country to understand that Mullen likes it at MSU and it won't be easy to woo him away? Perhaps their feelings got hurt when Mullen wouldn't just bow down to them and turned them down twice? How dare he, Mr. Lowlife Mississippi peasant, say no to us??

I understand that there are better jobs and locations in the country. But I don't understand why everyone thinks that Mullen is going to leave at the drop of a hat for these perceived 'better' jobs. Maybe it's because I'm from Mississippi, but I just don't get why folks think it's such a terrible horrific place to live. I could think of many many many places that are much worse.
