This site missed onits projection of Ravern. But I should takeits projections on Bost, Sidney, Moultrie, and Hood as the Gospel.

as potnetial NBA draft picks in the next 2 drafts, 2 of them in the first round---which ought to tell you how sick our talent is supposed to be.

I'm sure if your buddies Brady and Gottfried were coaching us you would be saying we would be top ten material. The SEC is going to be damn good this year in basketball and the top 6 teams are much better than the top six teams in football. Throw LSU and Bama out and the football is not very good. Don't ever hear you bringing those points up. Hopefully we will have a good idea where we are after the New York trip but meanwhile, give us a break and let it play out.
SEC football has 4 teams ranked in the top 10....F-O-U-R....SC and UPig are both 7-1.... <div>
</div><div>I hope we see 4 SEC basketball teams ranked in the top 10 2/3 of the way thru the basketball season- but I highly doubt it</div>

The two guys predicted to get drafted this year are both head cases. With one having more problems to worry about than just his weight. I know you know what I am talking about.

And the two guys predicted to get draftednext year haven't played a single minute for us yet.

is Mullen excluded from this formula ?? he has the only returning starting QB from last year in the SEC

Aaron Murray disagrees with the 'only returning starting QB' statement BUT I totally agree with your premise ... "If Mullen were to get to Atlanta as many times as Stans has won the west, we would rename the stadium after him ... he would be the 'Bear' and JV of MSU"

Que the excusses ... the west in BB can't be ....

but there is a 'huge' difference in 'loaded with talent' and getting deep in the NCAAs. There are a 'lot' of teams with a lot more talent than MSU.

With all five starters, 10 returning players and new talent, Vandy is not even the rated the 'best' team in the SEC. Most BB analysts would tell you that Vandy has had 'better' talent than State over the past two years ... and those two teams didn't make it past the first round.

Right now, there are 4 teams in the SEC ratied higher than State and anywhere from 21 - 31 outside the conference rated higher that us.

Bost has proven he is a very talented NCAA basketball player, as has Sidney, and Moultrie has as well- this is fact. And these guys, with proper coaching, should be even better in 2012. For the Apologists to argue this is ludicrous. The "well Moultrie hasnt played for US yet". Well so what? Neither had Lawrence Roberts or Shane Power. But they had proven they were good college basketball players before they stepped on campus. So has Moultrie.<div>
</div><div>As far as Hood- he is ranked as the 16th best basketball player by Rivals coming out of HS from last season. Those guys almost always pan out- for example- Eric Bledsoe of Kentucky was rated 22nd in the nation coming out- in 2009- now he is already an LA Clipper. While we can all agree each individual case is different in how they may develop and turn out- the one constant with being rated that high is that there are expectations associated with that talent level.</div><div>
</div><div>And that is what is so laughable to me- people trying to act like this team, with all its talent, shouldnt have high expectations. Thats not me trying to set The Recruiter up for failure- its the reality that we have a helluva lot of talent on this team.</div>

Why is Kentucky rated ahead of Vandy? Because what their returning players have accomplished vs their returning players- or the projection of talent that Kentucky has coming in, combined with what it has returning?

And you know it, he is and has always been your boy. You Love coach Stans...We know you do...

Now all of the sudden we don't have good talent...
This team has more talent than our final 4 team in 1996, and that's not even including Zeidaks.
It's a fact and I expect a Sweet 16 or better from this years team or Stans needs to pack his bags...
I hope we make the Final 4, I really do....We have the talent on this team.

I'm sure I will read this more than a fewtimes over the nextseveral months. Too bad your leader said in March that we wouldn't be better than we were last year.

The fact is we have more talent on this team than we ever have had in S-Vegas and we should expect results in March from this team and our coach.

Sweet 16 or Bust......

Give me a little time to conform to the sheep here, fish.

More of my Stans Apologist resume:

1. I don't hate his wife.
2. I don't hate his kids.
3. I think he's an above average recruiter and an average coach.

Damn. I can see why you guys despise us so much. That's some whack thinking right there.

Look!!! jeremiahshort.com has said we were going to go 12-18 this year in basketball. This PROVES that we don't have much talent, someone on the internet said so.<div>
</div><div>I've found 1 website out of a million that have made a prediction about our season, so we've gotta base our expectations off of that one.</div>
